We are pleased to share that Utah Clean Energy and Brendle Group will be hosting an important discussion about climate change and migration. Our changing global climate is driving significant increases in the movement of people both within countries and across borders. Experts anticipate the extreme weather, sea level rise, and drought will displace over 200 million people internationally between 2020 and 2050. How should we as Utahns response in a compassionate and pragmatic way to the challenges caused by climate-related migration?
We have an amazing panel of experts joining us, including: Judy Dorsey, President and Principal Engineer of Brendle Group, Dr. Raisa Uddin, a pediatric physician and fellow for the University of Utah’s Global, Rural, and Underserved Child Program, and Anicet Adjahossou, Climate Migration and Sustainability Specialist for Brenda Group.
